About The Logo

A Symbol of Interdependence: A Booted Tree Warbler (Hippolais caligata), a denizen of relatively arid country, picks on flowers of Bottlebrush (Callistemon spp). Bottlebrush flowers attract both insects and birds through their nectar-laden flowers. Pollination, however, is carried out more effectively by honey bees and birds. The photo captures one of the central philosophies of BCRT: coexistence and interdependence.

This elegant picture was captured by Mr. Clement Francis, who is a conservationist, wildlife photographer and an expert on birds of Western Ghats.
